Founders Growth Club strengthens the competitiveness of ambitious Danish scaleups by giving them access to knowledge, networks, and strategic guidance that would otherwise only be found in closed founder circles or venture environments.
Founders Growth Club focuses on scaleups that have already demonstrated significant potential through growth, team, or investments and are either preparing for or already undergoing international expansion.
By offering valuable advice, dedicated growth programs, and access to strong networks, Founders Growth Club helps Danish scaleups improve their ability to enter new markets, acquire new customers, establish new partnerships, raise capital, and scale their organizations.
Founders Growth Club was created by experienced entrepreneurs and successful business owners to strengthen the Danish scaleup ecosystem and increase the number of Danish companies that grow globally while maintaining a solid base in Denmark.
The formula is simple: by giving ambitious scaleups access to the knowledge and experience of people who have faced the same dilemmas and decisions, Founders Growth Club can shorten the path to success and reduce the risk of costly missteps.

How do I apply?
Apply under ‘Join The Club’ – we follow up with a call to ensure there’s a fit.
How much time does it take?
You decide. Expect one key activity a month. The more you put in, the more you get out of it.
What do I get as a member?
Members are given the option to participate in the following:
- 1:1 mentoring with seasoned founders
- Roundtables on real challenges (think market entry, hiring, or exits)
- Off-site events: 1–2 days in Denmark, focused on topics like fundraising, international growth, or exit strategies
- Academies focused on M&A, IPO, international expansion
- Access to 100+ hours of tailored consultancy (co-financed by the scaleups themselves)
What if we don’t meet all the criteria yet?
We look at potential too. If you're close to the thresholds and scaling fast – don't hesitate to apply. We want the right mindset, not just the numbers.
What industries do you work with?
We focus on tech and innovation-driven companies, but any scalable business with international ambitions is welcome.
What makes this different from other programmes?
It’s built by founders, for founders. No lectures, just shortcuts. You’ll work with people who’ve scaled companies like yours – not consultants.
Who can join?
We work with ambitious Danish scaleups that meet (or are close to) these criteria:
- 10+ employees
- DKK 10M+ in annual revenue
- DKK 10M+ in raised capital
- Clear international growth ambitions

Will FGC help with funding or IPO?
Yes. Through IPO Academy and our investor network, we provide deep-dive guidance and introductions to capital and public markets.

Can I decline a mentoring request if I’m busy?
Absolutely. You’re never locked in. We check availability before each request.
Can I join if I live abroad?
Absolutely. Many of our advisors are based in global hubs – Berlin, London, New York. We meet virtually and in person.
Do I get paid?
Yes. We offer compensation for active contributions – DKK 1,250/hour.
How are mentors matched with scaleups?
We curate matches based on sector, stage, and challenge. No generic pairings - it has to create real value.
Who qualifies as a Growth Advisor?
You’ve built, scaled, and (probably) exited. You’ve raised funds, grown internationally, and want to pass it on. We look for founders, co-founders or execs with real-world scaleup experience. Read about the requirements under ‘The Club’.

Is there a cost to join?
No. Our membership is free for those who meet ourrequirements for acceptance, but certain activities may require co-investment.The project is funded by Danish Board of Business Development and the DanishIndustry Foundation.
What is Founders Growth Club?
FGC is a founder-to-founder network designed to help Danish scaleups grow internationally. Backed by Denmark’s Board of Business Development and the Danish Industry Foundation, we provide actionable advice, strategic connections, and tailored support from those who’ve done it before.
Who’s behind FGC?
FGC is led by Canute by Thursday and Erhvervshus Hovedstaden, in partnership with FBV and top advisors and organisations like Crayon, Danske Bank Growth, EY, Microsoft Denmark & DI.
Why only scaleups?
Because this group is under-served. Most programmes focus on startups or traditional SMEs. We’re filling that gap.
