Can Founders Growth Club assist with funding or IPO?
Yes. Through our IPO and our investor network, we provide guidance and introductions to capital and public markets.
How do I apply?
We work with ambitious Danish scaleups that meet (or are close to) these criteria:
- 10+ employees
- DKK 10M+ in annual revenue
- DKK 10M+ in raised capital
- Clear international growth ambitions
Read more about the requirements and apply under ‘Join The Club’ – we follow up with a call to ensure there is a fit.
How much time does it take?
You decide. Expect one key activity a month. The more you put in, the more you get out of it.
Is there a cost to join?
No. Our membership is free for those who meet our requirements for acceptance, but certain activities may require co-investment. The project is funded by Danish Board of Business Development and the Danish Industry Foundation.
What do I get as a member?
Members are given the option to participate in the following:
- 1:1 mentoring with experienced founders
- Roundtables on real challenges (think market entry, hiring, or exits)
- Off-site events: 1–2 days, focused on topics like fundraising, international growth, or exit strategies
- Academies focused on M&A, IPO and international expansion
What if we do not meet all the criteria yet?
We look at potential too. If you are close to the thresholds and scaling fast – do not hesitate to apply. We want the right mindset, not just the numbers.
What industries do you work with?
We focus on tech and innovation-driven companies, but any scalable business with international ambitions is welcome.
What is a Scaleup Founder?
A Scaleup Founder is a founder building a company beyond the startup stage – with traction, a scalable business model, and ambitions that reach beyond Denmark. In Founders Growth Club, that typically means at least 10 employees, DKK 10m+ raised, DKK 10m+ in recurring revenue, and a clear appetite for international growth.
Read more about the requirements to become a Scaleup Founder under "Join The Club".
What makes this different from other programmes?
It is built by founders, for founders. No lectures, just shortcuts. You will work with people who have scaled companies like yours – not consultants.
Who can join?

Can I decline a mentoring request if I am busy?
Absolutely. You are never locked in. We check availability before each request.
Can I join if I live abroad?
Absolutely. Many of our advisors are based in global hubs – Berlin, London, New York. We meet virtually and in person.
Do I get paid?
Yes. We offer compensation of DKK 1,250/hour for contributions that require preparation.
How are mentors (Growth Advisors) matched with Scaleup Founders?
We curate matches based on sector, stage, and challenge. No generic pairings - it has to create real value.
What is a Growth Advisor?
A Growth Advisor is an experienced founder, co-founder, or key executive who has scaled a company internationally – and is ready to pass that experience on. Not as theory. As practical, first-hand advice from someone who has been down the wrong roads, learned the right lessons, and can help other founders scale smarter.
Read more about the requirements to become a Growth Advisor under "Join The Club".
Who qualifies as a Growth Advisor?
You have built, scaled, and (probably) exited. You have raised funds, grown internationally, and want to pass it on. We look for founders, co-founders or execs with real-world scaleup experience. Read about the requirements under ‘The Club’.

What is Founders Growth Club?
FGC is a founder-to-founder community designed to help Danish scaleups grow internationally. Backed by Denmark’s Board of Business Development and the Danish Industry Foundation, we provide actionable advice, strategic connections, and tailored support from those who have done it before.
Who is behind Founders Growth Club?
FGC is led by Canute by Thursday, Erhvervshus Hovedstaden, and Danish Tech Startups in close collaboration with FBV and our Growth Partners: Danske Bank Growth, EY, EIFO, and Danish Industry.
Why only scaleups?
Because this group is under-served. Most programmes focus on startups or traditional SMEs. We are filling that gap.
